SHIPPING & RETURNS
  1. Return/Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receipt of order. All returns/exchanges require a prior Return Authorization from louisdog.com, no exceptions will be made. 
  2. All returns/exchanges must be in original packaging, unused and in saleable condition. We are not responsible for any damage that is caused by your dog to any of the merchandise. We cannot honor returns or exchanges for any merchandise that has been used or is not in its original new condition.
  3. If an item arrives damaged or defective you must contact us within 48 hours of receipt. If the box appears damaged upon receipt, do not sign for or accept it and it will be returned to us. We will send an exchange or credit you for the item. (Note: Credit issued good up to 1 year from date of original purchase)
  4. You must contact us within 30 days of order placement if your item has not arrived. We will not be held responsible for notifications after that time.
  5. For the first exchange of an item, you pay shipping/handling charges for the exchange. If a second exchange is necessary, a $12 handling fee will be applied, as well as the shipping/handling charges for the exchange. 
  6. Refunds will be given in the form of store credit only. 
  7. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
  8. NOTE: Due to strict health regulations, carriers cannot be returned/exchanged.

  10. For your security, please return your items with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt.   11. Any item returned without a Return Authorization will NOT be processed and will be returned to the customer at customer's own expense and/or additional restocking fee of 50% will be incurred.

  • Any shipments to overseas may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Since duties and taxes vary by country and by what was ordered, we are not able to supply an estimated cost. Please contact your customs office for more information.
     If you need rush shipping on your order please contact us for availability and costs.
  • If you order more than one item and one or more of your items are backordered, your in-stock item(s) will be shipped per our normal processing time. Your backordered item(s) will be shipped separately at no additional charge when they become available.
  • Delivery times are estimated. Certain delays are inevitable and out of our control. We do not guarantee any specific time for shipment or delivery. 
  • Incorrect or undeliverable addresses and refused shipments resulting in an item being returned to shipper will be charged for shipping fees. Undeliverable packages which require reshipment at the customer's request, are subject to a reshipment charge equivalent to the original shipping fees. This includes refusal of a package, unclaimed packages, or misinformation on the part of the customer. Should we be unable to reach the customer for resolution, a 50% restock charge will be apply and store refund will be issued for the balance Shipping and handling is non-refundable. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
This Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "Agreement") constitutes a binding legal contract between you and Louisdog, the owner and operator of the louisdog.com website (the "Site"). By ordering any product or service via the Site, you signify your acceptance of this Agreement, as it may be amended or supplemented from time to time. Changes to this Agreement will be effective when posted.
 
 Product prices, availability, shipping/delivery costs, types of shipping method, and terms and conditions of sale, are subject to change without advance notice. Louisdog is not responsible for typographical errors.
 
 Pricing : In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, Louisdog shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item. In the event that an item is priced incorrectly, Louisdog may, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
 
 Taxes : Louisdog’s prices do not include sales, use, excise or similar taxes.

 Shipping : Shipping and handling are additional unless otherwise expressly indicated at the time of sale. The cost of shipping for heavy or oversized items is higher than other items of the same value and will be reflected in the shipping total. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by Louisdog is responsibility of Louisdog. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by you is your responsibility. You must notify Louisdog within 48 hours of the date of delivery if you believe any part of your purchase is missing, wrong or damaged. In the event, if you received a damaged item, you shall send us a picture(s) of the damaged item to us by an e-mail.
 
 Delivery : Delivery dates are estimates only. Delivery dates will be anywhere from 7 days to 3 weeks for standard shipping. Non-stock/special order items require approximately 4-6 weeks to ship. Weekends and holidays are not calculated in the delivery days. Louisdog shall not be liable for delays in delivery due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including shortage of materials, acts of God, acts of civil or military authorities, strikes, war, riot, delays in transportation or car shortages. In the event of any such delay, the date of delivery shall be extended for a period equal to the time lost by reason of the delay.
 
 Returns : Within 10 days of receipt of product, new, unused and undamaged items may be returned along with the corresponding packing slip for merchandise exchange or store credit, subject to the following limitations:

  • Returnable items may be EXCHANGED FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY. Store credits will not include the shipping and handling costs. If you have any questions regarding the return policy of a particular item, please email us at webmaster@louisdog.com.
  • Only one return per order. We will not accept a return on the exchange.
  • If the item is defective upon receipt by customer or if there was a shipping error on the part of Louisdog, we will reimburse you for the cost of returning the package to us, and you will not be charged for the shipping cost of your replacement item. Please note that we will not be held responsible for any damage to a product caused by tear and wear.
  • If an item was damaged during transit, we reserve the right to request photographic proof of damage. That is, you may be asked to provide a photo of the damaged item.

 All returns require prior written approval by Louisdog and a Return Authorization Number, which will be issued to you. Once you have received the RA#, you must ship your return within 10 days before it expires. Returns with expired RA# will not be accepted.
 
 To return an item, please email us and let us know the item(s) you want to exchange, and the reasons(s) for the return. You will receive an email response with a Return Authorization Number that must be clearly written on the outside of your package, as well as further instructions. Any item returned without a Return Authorization number issued by Louisdog will NOT be processed and will be returned to the customer at customer's own expense and/or additional restocking fee of 50% will be incurred.
 
Waiver and Limitation of Liability
You hereby acknowledge that the warranty provided herein and the accompanying obligations and liabilities of Louisdog are exclusive and you hereby waive all other remedies, warranties, guarantees or liabilities, express or implied, arising by law or other wise, whether or not occasioned by the negligence of louisdog. You acknowledge by your use of products sold by louisdog that your use of the products and any reliance upon them is at your sole risk. In no event shall louisdog or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, statutory, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with any product and its use. it is your responsibility to follow all instructions and heed all warnings accompanying any product ordered from the site. You agree not to join in any lawsuit with another person or serve as a class representative of any class action lawsuit against louisdog arising out of your purchase or use or products ordered via the site.
 
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold completely harmless louisdog from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the products purchased via the site.
